For thirty years, veteran trucker Dave Hart has been running loads ranging from lumber, flatbed freight, dry van, tank work, to his current cattle liner haul. And Dave knows his rig inside and out. His current truck (which Dave is not planning on replacing anytime soon) is a 2003 model 475 horsepower Caterpillar.
Since first treating his crankcase with XenTx Extreme Engine Treatment on June 11, Dave has logged a .5 mile to the gallon increase in fuel savings, an increase from 7 to 7.5.
However, as Dave points out, “It’s not just about the [increased] fuel mileage,”
He reports that, since treating his entire truck (engine, axles, hubs, and transmission) with XenTx, Dave has been running at 190, fifty degrees cooler than usual - a benefit he believes will help his equipment last longer.
“Everything seems to roll easier” Dave says.
Interestingly, Dave tells us that he has been doing a Texas run with another driver who has been hauling a similar load, minus the XenTx Extreme Engine Treatment. The other driver has been running at 250 degrees, sixty degrees hotter than Dave’s engine.
Dave is also pleased that, after usually having to add a gallon of oil at 14 or 15000 km, today at 24000 km, he didn’t have to add a drop.
And how has using XenTx Extreme Engine Treatment helped make Dave’s life easier?
“I think there’s peace of mind. Fuel can run 60, 70, 80 cents a mile…” Dave explains.
“It’s just a big, big bonus.”
